Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is catering included in my conference registration?
A: Only Lunch & Dinner on the first 2 days are catered for at the Youth Pastors Conference. Attendees are responsible to source their own Breakfast and Morning and Afternoon Tea.

Q: Do I have to share a room, or can I have my own room?
A: You will be required to share a room, all accommodation options are twin share at a minimum. Baptist Youth Ministries have created the Youth Pastors Conference this way for greater connection, and to keep ticket pricing to a minimum. Please state your preference of a room mate on the registrations page. If you wish to have a room to yourself, you will have to purchase 2 tickets to the Youth Pastors Conference.

Q: When do registrations close?
A: Registrations close on the 14/01/2018. Baptist Youth Ministries cannot guarantee accommodation if you register after 7/01/2018, due to room release contract with the oaks Pacific Blue Resort. The early bird rate ends on the 02/01/2018.

Q: Can my church be invoiced for my ticket cost?
A: Yes, Baptist Youth Ministries can register you and invoice your church. Please contact Dan Dalton on ddalton@nswactbaptists.org.au for more information.

Q: What should I bring?
A: On top of the usual things you would take for a few days away, we suggest the following: your bible, your key youth leader(s), food and drinks (or money for food for the duration of the Conference), something to take notes with, swimming and exercise gear, and lastly the expectation to connect and be encouraged by likeminded people.

Q: Can I bring my spouse?
A: Yes you may. As the conference tickets are twin share and due to limited accommodation space, your spouse will have to also purchase a ticket.

Q: Can I bring my children?
A: If your children don’t require a bed supplied, they can attend at no extra cost. Any additional beds required for children will incur a cost set by BYM, and will depend on availability with Pacific Blue Resort. Please contact Dan Dalton on ddalton@nswactbaptists.org.au for more information.

Q: Can I come for part of the conference?
A: The conference is structured for you to attend the whole duration, and we would prefer you at the whole conference to develop healthy networks. However we are able to accommodate part time involvement where necessary – please contact us if this is relevant for you.
